I was recently told,( by a salesman in a big box electronics store ), that because of normal signal degradation in cable tv broadcast, reception would be enhanced using a signal amplifier. I might have considered this BS, except he wasn't trying to sell me one, and referred me to Radio Shack. (I was looking for a television). I'd be interested in opinions concerning this.
