This model is a widescreen, HDTV compatible, rear projection unit. It has component input and can input up to a 780p or 1080i signal. It says it has 850 lines of resolution, some I'm thinking that means it can resolve 780p output. (?)Also, I've heard projection units look like caca between 2 and 3 years down the road, losing their brightness. Can anyone comment on that?
