Okay, that's an answer, too! I haven't really looked into the DVD player aspect yet. (I've checked receivers out a bit.) I was just operating on the assumption that there were players available, and worth the ducats, in that price range. I appear to have been wrong in that assumption - which is good to know.As I say, I'm really at the beginning of my research here. Thanks for pointing out my (apparently pretty shocking, ;-)) error.
