My HT system is basicly composed of a 46" SONY rear screen (top of the line in it's size about 6 or 7 years ago). I don't have surround set-up at present due to the fact that I'm currently running 4 Ohm speakers off of my surround receiver [i.e. a 10 year old Pioneer Dolby Surround model with "amateur" logic ;-)]. Once I get my high performance stereo in place I'll consider upgrading my HT environment. Considering the ongoing introduction of HDTV and unresolved issue of which competing sound format will dominate (DTS & SDDS), I'm content to wait.I also have a Panasonic/Prism LX1000 LD/CD Player (also top of the line in it's day), and a recently acquired Pioneer D404 DVD Player (I waited on DVD until I was satisfied most of the bugs were worked out of the system). BTW, as you can see I definitely do not suffer from early-adopteritis. (grin)
