Here is a little trick you can easily try - - find a mirror, or a framed picture covered with glass, and put it at the corner; i.e., where you're remote can hit it and bounce the signal to the components. If it has a reflective surface, it can possibly do the trick, and save you some money (I suggest this because it seems from your message you're essentially doing this already with a wall).I use it with my EAD Ovation, Pioneer DVL 91, etc. and it works fine. I assume from your posting that you have an "indirect" line of sight between you and the components. If they're enclosed (in a cabinet) you will need a repeater.
