I have a 5 channel receiver powering a Boston Acoustics Micro 90 speaker system for television/movies. Here's the question: I have a subwoofer output on the back of the receiver (single RCA). The Micro 90 system has a powered subwoofer, and the sub can be hooked up either by running an additional set of wires from the speaker outputs of the receiver, or via an RCA input from the subwoofer output of the receiver. Problem is that the subwoofer has a pair of RCA inputs (L + R), and the receiver has only a single output, which makes a Y-adapter necessary. Am I likely to get better sound running the additional set of speaker cables, or using the subwoofer output and Y-adapter?Thanks...
