If you can get a 989 for $1,300 I'd grab it. That's an amazing deal. I believe dealer cost on the unit is $1800. It sounds very good for a receiver and in theory should get a DPL II upgrade (although Onkyo hasn't announced it and won't answer my e-mails about it). It sounds incredibly good for a receiver and has a terriffic feature set.
