best tv for $1500-2000

i have done a search through the archives but couldn't find anything with my requirements. i would appreciate your help!!
i need a new television. here are the requirements:
-must be around 36"
-must be lighter than 150 pounds
-must have at least one component video inputs
-must have rca audio outputs
-must be in the $1500-2000 price range
16:9 would be great but i doubt i can get it at this price. i saw the
new samsung 30" 16:9 yesterday ($1700) hd ready set yesterday.
quite a bargain but the picture was kind of shitty. lots of
"artifacting" (i think that is what it is called) even when viewing a
pioneer elite progressive dvd pic.
so what is the best set meeting these requirements right now, what
have you guys/girls been happy with?
