Hi;I'm wrestling with the idea to sell or not to sell my Panasonic 27 inch PIP Flat screen TV.
I will be moving this summer to Spain for a 3 year work assignment. This would mean that I will return back to the USA in summer of 2004.
I was told that starting the year 2006 there will be only digital TV transmission.
Hearing that TV will change from analog to digital I am trying to figure out if it is better to sell my good analog TV now and buy a "hopefully reasonable priced" digital TV in 2004 or invest in an digital to analog TV converter in 2004.
My Panasonic has PIP with 2 tuner, so I would loose the PIP if I use a d/a converter.
Since Spain has PAL SECAM video signal and 220 Volt/ac and here in the USA we have PAL and 110 Volts it would do me no good to take the TV all the way to Spain.
What do you guys suggest?
Thanks
