Try www.circuitcity.com. Their site explains all the basic features then lets you select the models that have the features you want. When you find the model you like, use a search engine to find the best price. Take that price to your local Sears and have them match it. To interface with a PC, you'll need one of the digital formats such as mini-DV. JVC is probably the brand to look for in that price range.
