le question - Does proper ambient lighting make a difference to your viewing pleasure?
My answer first - I just put in a single flourescent fixture behind and below the big screen (so it lights the wall) A bulb giving up 6500K and a CRI of 75 for starters. Am also gonna' try a 5000K bulb with a 91 CRI.
It's so new I haven't even had a chance to see it in the dark (hey, this is Edmonton, dark comes late and leaves early this time of the year!)
Anybody want to comment on their version of ideal lighting? If they mention it on the A/V set-up DVD it must be at least a bit important.
