Re: Outlets in new Home Theatre room

If you are in North America, then I would suggest using "spec grade" outlets. They are more expensive (a couple of bucks, compared to 50 cents for a regular outlet) but they are well worth it in terms of long term use. Industrial is the next level above spec and finally Hosptial is at the very top. Use heavier gauge wire if you can as well, most homes have 14 gage use 12 for the power amps.
