Hello all,I have a planus 530 tv. In the US, there are no scarts on this, so the only Progressive Scan input for this tv is through the VGA port. This means that I would have to purchase a transcoder for a 150 bucks to hook up a Progressive scan dvd player for 480p. My question is this. Is it worth doing that type of hookup as opposed to using a regular dvd player being connected to the non progressive component inputs? Is the line doubler in the tv giving me the same type of quality picture thru the NTSC dvd player component connections? I'm a newbie and very confused about all this stuff right now. Thanks in advance....
Marc
