You're not a alone! At the very least, hundreds of people have reported the same problems with the Panasonic A310 and A110 models to Panasonic and they refuse to acknowledge the problem! I had an A310 and just after the warranty expired, the same thing you're experiencing happened to me. I loved the performance of the A310, but now it's just a piece of useless junk. The CD section still worked, so I sold it to a friend for that purpose. I suppose one could initiate a class action lawsuit, but I don't think anybody wants to bother (myself included).
