I seem to be having problems with my picture when I use the S-video cable.
I have tried different s-video cables and also tried direct connection from DVD to TV as apposed to going through my receiver, but still no joy.
the problem is a haziness at the side of both ends of the TV, sort of like a really hot day haze.
When I use normal composite connection all is ok.
I spoke to a guy at work who recons that because the S-video cable has no earth you will probably experience a lot of interference and will have to buy really expensive s-video lead to get round the problem.Set-up
Philips TV
Onkyo Receiver 787
Toshiba DVD
The S-video cables are fairly decent cables.Any advice would be great.
