A new DVD player for my Sony 36xbr450?

I recently bought the Sony kv-36xbr450 and am considering upgrading my dvd player. I have a Panasonic DVD-A120u player, which I have been happy with.

I have been looking at the Progressive players, I have my eye on the Sony ns700p and the Panasonic RP61. Has anyone with this TV upgraded their DVD to a Progressive player? Is there a noticeable improvement?
