I am willing to spend $2000 on a good DVD progressive scan DVD player with at least good CD playback. Rumor has it Sony is upgrading the 9000ES in two months to have five channel SACD sound. I would imagine the video portion won't get any better. Is there a better player at this price that offers improved progressive scan video output? Also, I hear that using a bettler line chord can dramatically improve the performance. There is talk of a cmpany offering upgrade packages for this machine. I am currently using the Pioneer DV09. Any Comments? I need some advice. Thanks.
