Setup and source material is everything. I've seen the 40" Sony and apprently know one knows how to set it up correctly. Since its almost 300 pounds, anyone buying it should require the store to get it set up by a tech accredited to the AVP professionals. This way you will quickly know whether its the technical problem with the set or the source material. Would be interested in hearing from someone who has it and has had it set up correctly.
