Just wondering if there are any reasonable upgrades one can make to the Parasound PPH-100 Phono Preamp? I am very impressed with it as is, but realize that compromises must have been made to maintain its low price point.I guess I am thinking along the lines of better op amps, input load matching, or other small component changes.
By the way - I use a 2.0 mV high output Benz Micro Silver moving coil cartridge with a suggested loading of 2000 to 47K Ohms.
Think this is crazy? I'm still trying to make my trusty old AR turntable sound like a Linn LP12. It might be futile but keeps me out of trouble and keeps my fine audio habit within budget.
Thanks.
