We had an old projection TV. I bought a Sony KV-36XBR450 when it broke. A great Hi Definition TV. I love the TV so much I bought a surround system to go with it.Receiver: Denon 5800
Speakers: Definitive Technology BP3000TL, C/L/R 3000, BPVX/PI can return either of these within the next 30 days. They sound great together to me. I had researched the system for some time but I really got the system because of price.
The Denon was $2500 (list $3800) and the Definitives were $5500 (list $7400). I thought I was getting bargain. An $11200 system for $8000. All are new from a factory dealer.
Is this the best system I could have gotten for the money? If not what would be better?
