This maybe a dumb question, but here it goes: It is generally possible for a DVD player to decode DD signal and output it as PCM for an external DAC. Does the same holds true in case of DTS signal? Can a DVD player with internal DTS decoder output PCM digital signal decoded from DTS? Or is it limited only to DD signal?I have a separate setup using a DVD player with an external DAC. I'm considering getting a new DVD that has built-in DTS decoder. In this case, will I be able to hear DTS track out of my external DAC, or must I use the analogue 6 outputs of the DVD player to hear DTS?
Many thanks.
