I am putting together a home theater system for the first time. I have a Sony WEGA 36" XBR250 television and a Sony DVP 7000 player - nothing else.Assuming you had $5,000 to spend on power/speakers, how would you spend the money?
I have considered purchasing a Denon AVR5700 receiver (approximately $2,200) and using the rest for speakers (possibly PSB Goldi's for left/right and PSBs for the center, sub, and surrounds). But I have seen other posts in different forums that recommend going with separates for the budget I have.
Thanks in advance for your comments.
Sam
