Hi,
i have Golds, think they need 200 watts at a Minimum. 300 watts is more
like it. As you might surmise, i like PSB speakers. But i would probably steer
you to a company that had put more effort into the theater side of things.
Don't worry, you don't have to sacrifice a thing. Read some mags, hit some stores, see (and hear) what you like. Oh yeah, spend some time learning about subs ( you are about to enter the brave new world of room resonance), get a really good sub and you don't really need monster speakers.
Find a good dealer and develop a relationship with him. He can save you a lot of grief (and maybe some money).
