.1 LFE signal content versus the other 5 channels

146.148.72.14

If I listen to DVD-A/ SACD or DTS I would like to fed the subwoofer with high level (from amplifier speaker level) for better integration without loosing low level information.

Is .1 (LFE) channel content (for DVD-A and DVD-V) different than other 5 channel LFE content ?
In other words:
I heard that if you enable the full range for mains you don’t have LFE signal, if you set up small for mains you have a signal in the LFE path.
1) Is the LFE the mixed version of mains (filtered for low frequency) ?
2) The same logic applies for center ? Do you get a mix for all 5 channels if I set up all them for small (high pass signal) ?
3) Is it true that LFE could contain additional LFE low frequency signal difference than others channel low frequency signal?
4) Can I have low signals simultaneously present in the 5 and the .1 channels ?

Regards,
Daniel.
