I am looking for advise on purchasing a 300-400 dollar DVD player.
I have read good reviews of the sony 700np with 12 bit/54mhz. I have
also seen ads for panasonic 24/192 DVD players. The sony SEEMS
to highlight the video portion of the product and the panasonic
seems to highlight the audio portion of the product. Any insight
would be helpful. I would rather have a better picture with a DVD
player over sound if it is a big enough difference. My current
TV only has svideo but it looks good enough currently not to trade
up for a few years. Am I at a price point that will get me more
or less quality with a few hundred more bucks spent.
