Greetings All,My "buddy" just purchased a home theater package. I have spent hours explaining to her why her home theater speakers should be positioned "just so", meaning, not mounted flush on a wall, not mounted to the ceiling, not having both the left and right effects speakers to the left of the TV, that the left, right, and center speakers must (or at least should) be on the same plane, and on, and on. Yet, she is not convinced that the speakers should placed positioned according to a specific plan.
OK, can you please supply me with a simple, and logical way to explain the above, to a woman who feels that visual aesthetics is the only criteria for speaker placement? True, the system is her's, but why spend a wad on a nifty system only to place the speakers in a haphazard manner?
Thanks in advance.
Signed,
redog
