Used Classe SSP-25

I was at my local stereo shop today and came across a 1 year old used SSP-25. The previous owner traded it in for a Krell pre/pro I believe is what I was told. Anyway I have heard excellent review on this piece and have been very close to upgrading for a few months now.
The store wants $1800 for the piece. Sounds like a fair price, but I was looking for some input on what others are seeing these pieces for now a days.
I am looking to replace my Carver HR-785 reciever with this piece. It will be paired with an Outlaw 750 amp and I am using Krix Apex speaker in the front and Energy's for the rears.
I don't think I can go wrong with the piece. Just looking to get a fair price.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
