Pausing problem isn't

12.234.53.154

In the GoodOldDays of Laser disk we would be required to flip /change the 12" after an hour or so. I called these "popcorn breaks".

Today the movie on DVD continues into the second layer.

Early DVD's required a side flip. Ditto 3-hr long films.

This process takes a brief pause perhaps longer in some players but hardly noticable in my 9000es.

BTW all my players are plugged into a power line conditioner. No player troubles at all over a long time period. Other than CD-R's or dirty or one which only plays in my 7000. Perhaps a lesson to be learned.
