Max,
I had a panasonic GAOO, the old Superflat (but not really flat) TV. It exhibited the same crooked picture you discribed but to a lesser degree, maybe 1/8" at the extreme. I returned it and got another one that has been perfect since (five years running). Yes the WEGA's all have horrible geometry especially the 24", but people don't seem to care, they just want that flat WEGA screen. Most flat screen TV's, with the exception of plasmas, have extra glass in the corners (to achive a ruler flat plane) this is what causes the distortion. It's a classic give and take. I don't know much about RCA reliability as of late but 5-6 years ago they were, in my experience, the worst in the industry. I know I've probably steered you clear of all three, so I'm sorry. My advice would be to look at some additional Pana's to see if they exhibit the same problem. I've been happy with mine so on the one hand I'm biased but on the other, I've got to give good products some word of mouth advertising. Hope this helps some. -Tim
