Depends on what you are looking for in sound quality

Been there, tried that but it did not work in our system. I tried to splice in a Technics(?) 500D but the sound was dreadful.

When I did my research on this 2 years ago there were no more add ons being made -> only used units = old technology. However there was a recent thread here on the 500D and praised it so maybe I struck a lemon.
