compare projection TV's

Our Big screen died (Magnavox MAG9P5534). It's under warranty so it's being replaced with another TV. I was told it would be the same model, but I just compared invoices, and the replacement is going to be a Samsung (SAMPCL545).
I'm wondering if I should just take the Samsung or go back and ask for a comparable Magnavox. The TV is about 3 years old, so I'm sure they don't have the same one, plus, I didn't notice any Phillips/Magnavox TV's when I was browsing around the store.
One thing, the Samsung is HDTV upgradeable, the Magnavox wasn't. The actual price is about $250 less for the Samsung.
Any thoughts?
