I'm looking for a good 4:3 direct-view TV, between 29" and 34". Requirements include:
* no SVM (or can be disabled)
* linear (or can be calibrated to be fairly close)
* progressive-capable
* anamorphic squeezeNice-to-have's:
* flat screen
* 1080i or 720p
* PiPI don't really care about line doublers, though Sampo makes the only units I've seen that are lacking them. If a unit *does* have a built-in line doubler, then I require it to be pretty good.
So far, the Princeton Graphics AR2.7HTX and AR3.2HTX are the only units I'm aware of that I know to satisfy all these requirements (they don't do PiP or have flat screens, BTW). Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anyone who is carrying them.
Thanks, in advance, for relating any experiences, or providing any suggestions or links to reviews or product info!
