group buying sites?

I've seen some mention of group buying, here. In the past, I've visited a couple group buying web sites, but never tried it. I was wondering what sites people recommend I use or stay away from.
Specifically, I'm in the market for two items that I think would be good candidates for group buys: a Philips Pronto (or Neo) remote, and a Panasonic RP-56 DVD player.
