Hello fell Inmates,I understand that NTSC and PAl are incompatible. I wonder however if I were to take the composite out of a UK spec VHS (attached to a proper voltage step down transformer) could I attach this to a North American spec television with composite in and get a picture? As I can inexpensively acquire a UK spec vhs and now live in Toronto, all I would need is a step down transformer which I already have. I already use a tube amp and a CD player with very satisfactory results. The alternative is a very expensive World Video Recorder and I am loathe to buy a VHS these days.
All the best, Jeff
