Pioneer Multiroom Alternative?

I currently use a Pioneer Elite VSX-27TX A/V receiver in my home theater. I also use the multiroom function with a Pioneer MR-100 in another room. I would like to control the receiver from yet another room but the Pioneer MR-100's require daisy-chaining in order to function. Also, the MR-100's are ugly black boxes.
Is there a wireless unit that can be plugged into the Pioneer receivers which will control the multiroom function? I know the little Powermids don't work, but perhaps something else is compatible.
