Better DVD for the bucks than the Sony DVP-NS500V?

Although I'm very pleased with the picture and sound of the DVD player side of this machine, I am not overly blown away by the SACD section. Although there is some improvement, I just don't find it to sound dramatically better than the CD player in my system. With the high price of SACDs and the lack of titles available, I'm just not sure I'm ever going to embrace it completely.
That said, I still have a couple of weeks left to be able to return the Sony and exchange it for something else, so I'm wondering if there's a significantly better DVD player out there (without SACD) for the same $200 I spent on the Sony. Thanks!
