I'm in the market for a 16:9 widescreen direct-view HDTV (CRT, not plasma) 34" and above. There isn't much out there in terms of good reviews or comparisons. A videophile magazine recommends the Loewe Aconda 38" ($5500), the Sony 34XBR2 ($4000), and a Toshiba (can't remember the model/price). Do I have other alternatives in the $2000 and under range which are comparable to the Sony and the Tosh? Thanks!
