Hi,
I want to use my electrostats for the main front L/R of a HT setup, but cannot afford to add electrostatic rear L/R and center. Those would be standard dynamic woofer type speakers. I would continue to use my stable, current dumping amp to drive the stats, and a separate multi-channel amp to drive the other 3.Has anyone tried this and if so, how does it work? I'm not looking for the last word in resolution, but rather if there are any impedance problems, etc. or... if there might be too noticeable a difference between the stats and the others - especially between the electrostats and the center channel (the electrostats are very fast).
Opinions appreciated.
