PAL to NTSC - CodeFree DVD or external?

Hi All

I bought a Philips WidesScreen HDTV last year (when living in US) and am now living in Europe. I want to use the HDTV with PAL DVD's and progressive scan output, so I was considering buying either a Sampo DVE-611, or a JVC s600. I want to make sure it works OK with anamorphic PAL titles

So am I better off buyingone of these (any opinions on the best one welcome), or should I buy a regular PAL DVD player with progressive output and then a good external converter?
