Any HDTV Satellite Set top receivers with firewire outputs?

I have DishNetwork satellite service and am thinking about upgrading to HD since there are no "aired" HD stations in my somewhat rural location. But I would also like to add a DVHS Recorder and it appears that most receivers don't outpul via firewire and the JVC DVHS doesn't input component video. Do compatible products exist or is it a ploy of the industry to ensure copy protection?
