I have an old model NEC tv which I'm using with its own separate speakers. The set has a full receiver section with 2 vid inputs and both fixed and variable monitor outs (plus a separate tv out.) I currently have 2 vcrs hooked into the system, but am buying a dvd player. I also have an old 2ch stereo receiver I'd like to drive the system with, in part for its better quality, and in part because I want to be able to use its headphone jack to listen to music on the dvd player w/o having to turn on the tv (and get burn in from the splash screen.) The 2ch receiver has inputs for phono, tape and aux only. Is it possible to make my connections for 1 vcr and the dvd player? I will be using composite vid outs on the dvd. Thanks. rmb
