I have an HDTV capable TV monitor and will someday want to view HDTV broadcasts over satellite, over the air, or cable. The HDTV tuners are reasonably priced and I've seen a couple that combine over the air HDTV inside the satellite receiver.1)Which satellite service is providing more HDTV content.. DishNetworks or DirecTV?
2)If I sign up for "local network channels" via a satellite service, will I be able to receive HDTV from those local channels provided they are broadcasting in HDTV? Or... will I need a tuner to receive off the air HDTV directly from a transmitting tower nearby?
3)When will AT&T Broadband (now Comcast) provide HDTV over cable in the Denver area?
I read a post a while back that mentioned waiting for a new generation of HDTV tuners to appear. That post is a bit dated now. I'm wondering if there are any new developments worth waiting for in a simple HDTV tuner box? Thanks!
