Help: 15K home theater system

I don't venture out much from the Vinyl Asylum but my brother-in-law wants a pretty decent home theater system for about 15K. I know a little about vinyl and 2 channel but this HT stuff is bewildering to me. Can anyone recommend a complete system from one manufacturer or even a mix and match? Many thanks
