A little early investigation seems to indicate that the new generation of low cost video projectors like the InFocus are a much better deal than rear projector TVs, and don't physically overwhelm a room. Since I only see them discussed for use as dedicated HT, is there something I'm missing about them that makes projectors a bad choice for general purpose TV? Is it the tuner/receiver issue? Lamp life? Sensitivity to ambient light?
