Grafting the best of two worlds together...

I have a Pioneer DVR 57 H Tivo with a built in DVD writer. I love it. What it does, it does GREAT! It only has 480i output for TiVo and 480p for playing DVD. (It does have an excellent feature of outputting all sound through the Toslink digital connection!)

I have a Bravo D-1 DVD player with DVI output and a built in scaler that outputs 720P and 1080i from normal 4801 DVDs. The DVI picture is Fabulous. (The sound is ok...) I will be replacing the Bravo with a newer better player in the future so I do not care about using it as a parts source.

Any thoughts on removing the scaler/DVI output from the Bravo and grafting it into the Pioneer? Anyone know someone that could do this work?

Thanks... Paul
