I am considering getting a 26" Sony Plasma HDTV. My DVD player an an old cheap Pioneer 525, about $200.00 in 2000 or so. What would be a good DVD player for $500-1000 to go with the Sony? Do I need a DVD player with progressive scanning? Thanks for your help.
