I'm considering a 42" Panasonic EDTV. Unfortunately it does not have analog outputs, and I currently use the variable analog outputs of my TV into a power amplifier (two channel only). Since there is only a digital audio output on this TV, I assume I would have to by a digital receiver of some sort. I'm a high-end audio guy, though, and quite concerned about sound quality. I also don't want to put much money into this endeavor.Does anyone have suggestions. Either receivers, a different plasma with variable analog audio output(s), or another solution I'm not aware of. Again, I'm only thinking 2 channel. Thanks!
