DVD player recommendations (new or used) under $700.00?

I am interested in adding a good (if not very good) DVD player to couple with my Sony Wega XBR910 TV. I do not care about CD capabilities, as I already own a good CD player. I will consider new player, but would probably prefer to pick up an even better used unit (Arcam DV88p, perhaps?).
Any insights will be greatly appreciated!
