Purple lines on plasma display?

Can someone help? I have a panasonic 50inch plasma and when direct tv is on there are purple horizontal lines, faint and more visible in dark scenes. With a dvd player there are "braid like" horizontal lines. I have switched cables, ran only the display and either the set top or the dvd alone, disconnected sat & antenna cable, use power conditioner, installed dedicated isolated ground circuit. Set top is a samsung ts360, same results with three different dvd players.
