Hello, I'm a new member here, so hello everyone.I am looking be buy a flat panel TV, around the 42 inch size. I'm trying to decide between plasma and LCD. Currently I'm leaning towards the plasmas due to cost and better picture motion. But it seems that LCD's are catching up.
I'm wondering if anyone knows or thinks that plasmas are just a passing technology and will be quickly replaced by LCDs or something. Is it a waste to buy plasma now?
I'm currently looking at the:
LG 42" Plasma HDTV (DU-42PX12X)
and the
Samsung 42" Wide Screen Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV (HPR4272)Any comments or recommendations for models will be appreciated.
Thanks.
